Not only an intellectual playground, the contest is also a truly lively "history class", helping young cadres and soldiers understand more deeply the value of peace , independence, and freedom - achievements exchanged with blood, sweat, and tears of previous generations.
Colonel Nguyen Nhu Truc, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of Military Region 7, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, Head of the Contest Jury, commented: “The contest is an opportunity for agencies and units to assess the actual capacity, political education methods, ideology and revolutionary traditions of the cadre team. Thereby, select typical factors to continue to foster, expand and create a widespread movement in the Military Region.”
Realizing the importance of the contest, all units identified this as a key political task, both a traditional activity and an effective educational method. Agencies and units have proactively launched the "Combat Storytelling" contest at their level, creating a widespread effect.
To have quality performances, the contestants have invested in research, collected materials, and practiced diligently. Each story is carefully selected, associated with heroic battles and resounding victories of the army and people of the Southeast region - the land of "The Fatherland's Bronze Citadel".
The entries were carefully prepared in terms of content, voice and presentation. Many contestants were creative in their presentation, combining images, maps, battle plans, documentary videos, sound, and light, vividly recreating the historical context, bringing viewers back to the heroic battle atmosphere of the past.
In particular, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in projection has brought new appeal, making the storytelling more vivid and realistic. Many stories have touched deep emotions, making the audience silent when hearing about the bravery and silent sacrifice of soldiers who sacrificed for the Fatherland.
With an inspiring voice, confident style, logical and scientific storytelling, the contestants not only recounted a historical event, but also conveyed the spirit and mettle of the soldiers of the past, the people who "Sticked to the land, stuck to the forest", steadfastly fighting for the cause of national liberation.
The success of the contest does not stop at the awards, but more importantly, the spread of the "Tell the story of the fight" movement in the Military Region. The movement becomes a bridge between the heroic past and the innovative present, arousing the desire to contribute, the will to rise up, strengthening the belief and loyalty of cadres and soldiers towards the Party, the Fatherland and the people.
Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Tuan Kiet, Platoon Leader of Platoon 4, Company 2, Battalion 4, Regiment 88 (Division 302, Military Region 7) emotionally shared: "The stories told today not only remind us of a heroic time, but also give us spiritual strength to train diligently, be ready to fight, complete all tasks well, and build a strong and comprehensive unit."
Major General Pham Anh Tuan confided: “The “Combat Storytelling” contest has ended, but the echoes of the stories, lessons and emotions still resonate. Each story is a flame that lights up pride, fosters will, and reminds each soldier today to always strive to study and train, worthy of the glorious tradition of the heroic armed forces of Military Region 7.”
