Also according to the Provincial People's Committee, regarding the work of planning urban subdivisions 1/2000 in the province, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the planning of Phuoc An 1 subdivision (Phuoc An commune, Dong Nai province). Through the Provincial Construction Planning Appraisal Council, the planning dossier of Dai Phuoc 1 subdivision - Smart urban area along the river, science and innovation in Dai Phuoc commune, Dong Nai province and through the report on the appraisal of the planning task dossier of Nhon Trach 1 subdivision in Nhon Trach commune, Dong Nai province.
Regarding urban master plans, Dong Nai province has 4 urban master plans that have been approved by the Prime Minister (urban areas: Bien Hoa, Long Thanh, Trang Bom, Nhon Trach) and has reported to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Construction 3 urban master plans for Bien Hoa, Trang Bom, Nhon Trach. According to the guidance of the Ministry of Construction, currently, the approval authority belongs to the Provincial People's Committee, therefore, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Construction to advise on the implementation of planning projects according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 59 of the Law on Urban and Rural Planning.
