Entering its 6th year, the Regional Logistics Forum in Hue City is not only an annual specialized event but also carries the special responsibility of promoting cross-border logistics linkages, shaping the central role of logistics connection in the Central region on the national and regional logistics map. In particular, evaluating and recommending a roadmap for the development of the region's free trade zone.
In the Regional Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, the North Central and Central Coast regions are identified as the driving force, leading the country in marine economy . Taking advantage of the system of seaports, international border gates, airports and the East - West economic corridor, this region is oriented to become a logistics hub connecting both the North - South and East - West, contributing over 6% of the national logistics industry revenue by 2050.
