New Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee inspects key projects on Sunday

On September 21, Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, inspected key construction projects in the city.

Mr. An came to inspect the project at Lien Chieu port and the Lang Van tourism and resort complex project (Hai Van ward).

According to the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City (project investor), up to now, the Lien Chieu Port construction investment project (shared infrastructure part) has completed more than 93.57% of the volume value.

Some items have reached more than 95% of the volume such as breakwaters and revetments; dredging of shipping channels and water areas has reached 97.46%. Particularly, the traffic route and drainage system have reached 78.16% of the construction.

For the coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port, construction has completed 75.24% of the volume value.

Of which, the overpass at the beginning of the route has been completed 87.4%; the overpass at the end of the route has been completed 84.0%; the canal bridge and Lien Chieu bridge have been completed 91.3%; the underpass has been completed 89.9%; the road has been completed 49.8%; and the relocation of technical infrastructure for power supply and lighting has been completed 94.3%.

After listening to the report, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An emphasized the role of the project in the city's development. At the same time, he requested the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects in Da Nang, contractors and construction units to continue to focus resources and speed up construction progress to ensure completion on schedule.

On the same day, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City inspected the locations of the Free Trade Zone No. 1 and No. 2 projects and the resettlement area project serving projects in the Northwest region.

Especially for the resettlement area project serving projects in the Northwest region. This is an important and urgent project that needs to be implemented urgently to ensure resettlement land fund, serving in time for the construction and development of functional areas in the Free Trade Zone.

This project has a total planned research area of ​​136.15 hectares, deployed to serve the resettlement needs of functional areas at locations 1 and 3 of the Free Trade Zone in Hoa Khanh ward and Lien Chieu ward.

On September 13, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Previously, on the morning of September 8, the People's Council of Da Nang City held a thematic meeting to approve personnel work and approved Mr. Pham Duc An to officially hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City for the 2021-2026 term.

On September 6, the Central Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Secretariat on Mr. Pham Duc An being transferred and appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and introduced to be elected as Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
