On November 7, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, after considering the Central Inspection Committee 's proposal on disciplining violating party members, the Secretariat found that:
Mr. Cao Tien Dung, former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Dong Nai province; Nguyen Quoc Hung, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Tan Chan, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Tay Hoa District People's Committee, Phu Yen province (now Dak Lak province), have degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle.
Violating Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks.
Violating regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and very negative impact on the reputation of the party organization and the working agency or unit.
Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violations; based on the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Secretariat decided to expel from the Party Mr. Cao Tien Dung, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, and Mr. Nguyen Tan Chan.
The Secretariat requested competent authorities to promptly enforce administrative discipline in line with party discipline.
