Connecting trade between Kien Giang and Hau Giang

Conference delegates visited the key products and typical products of the two provinces on display.

On the afternoon of February 26, in Rach Gia City, the Department of Industry and Trade of Kien Giang Province and the Department of Industry and Trade of Hau Giang Province held a conference to connect trade, expand product consumption markets, seek business partners and distributors to cooperate and develop products of the two provinces. There were 22 enterprises, production facilities, business households, cooperatives, etc. of the two provinces participating.

Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Kien Giang province Le Minh Trung hopes that through this conference, the key and typical products of the two provinces will soon reach consumers, creating conditions for businesses, production establishments, business households, cooperatives, etc. to promote and introduce products, produce many high-quality goods and expand the product consumption market.

Enterprises, business households, production facilities... of the two provinces signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.

Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Hau Giang province, Nguyen Quoc Toan, said that Hau Giang has 113 products that meet the provincial 4-star OCOP standard and 3 products that meet the national 5-star OCOP certification. Hau Giang brought to the conference the province's typical and key products with the desire to bring these products to Kien Giang consumers, especially to the system of 4-star and 5-star restaurant chains and hotels in Kien Giang.

At the conference, enterprises, production establishments, business households, and cooperatives in Kien Giang and Hau Giang provinces signed five memorandums of understanding on cooperation.
