The event, organized by the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) in collaboration with the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), brought together leaders, logistics experts and freight forwarding associations from the Asia- Pacific region.
The conference, taking place from May 22-24, 2025, is an important platform to discuss trends in innovation, sustainability and regional cooperation in the logistics industry.

Mr. Bui Trung Thuong, Vietnam Trade Counselor in India, attended and delivered a speech at the conference, emphasizing Vietnam’s increasingly important role in regional and global supply chains. Mr. Thuong shared: “Vietnam is emerging as a strategic logistics hub in Asia, with modern infrastructure, free trade agreements such as RCEP and CPTPP, and strong growth in e-commerce. We look forward to strengthening cooperation with India and other Asia- Pacific countries to promote green and sustainable logistics solutions.” He also emphasized the importance of digital initiatives and supportive policies to improve the efficiency and resilience of supply chains.
The FIATA-RAP 2025 conference is an opportunity for Vietnam, through the Vietnam Logistics Association (VLA), to promote its partnership with India, a rapidly growing logistics market. ACAAI, with nearly 600 members, is the leading force in the aviation and logistics industry in India, representing IATA-accredited freight forwarders, airlines, and cargo training institutions. Mr. CK Govil, President of ACAAI, expressed his excitement at hosting the event, emphasizing India’s commitment to promoting regional trade and connectivity through innovative logistics initiatives.
Vietnamese delegation attending the Conference
Within the framework of the conference, Mr. Bui Trung Thuong, on behalf of VLA, invited the international logistics community to attend the FIATA World Congress 2025, taking place from October 6-10, 2025 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi, Vietnam. With the theme “Green & Resilient Logistics”, this event, considered the “Olympic of the logistics industry”, is expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates from 150 countries and territories around the world , discussing sustainable logistics solutions, digitalization and supply chain resilience.
Accompanying the FIATA World Congress 2025, the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (VILOG 2025) will take place from July 31 to August 2, 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. With the theme “Green Logistics – the Foundation for Sustainable Development,” VILOG 2025 is expected to attract more than 25,000 visitors, 350 exhibitors from 20 countries, showcasing advanced solutions in transportation, smart warehousing, cold chain and logistics technology. The event will include in-depth seminars, such as “Green Skills Training for Logistics Workforce” and “Green and Safe Logistics through Integrated Road and Water Transport,” along with visits to seaports and freight forwarding warehouses, providing a practical look at Vietnam’s modern logistics infrastructure.

Mr. Bui Trung Thuong’s participation at FIATA-RAP 2025 highlights the growing trade relationship between Vietnam and India, with bilateral trade reaching US$15 billion by 2024. The conference is not only an opportunity for Vietnam to showcase its advances in logistics and digital platforms, but also an opportunity to promote cooperation with India in areas such as aviation, multimodal transport and sustainability.
