On March 24, at the "green racetrack" Dam Thi Nai (Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province), the final competition day of the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship took place to determine the champions of the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh race.
Previously, yesterday (April 23), this race determined the order of the racers after the first motorcycle race. Accordingly, the Moto 1 finishing order determines the Moto 2 starting order: Top 1-5 in starting group 1; Top 6-15 in starting group 2; Top 16 and above in starting group 3. Starting groups 1, 2, 3 have the first, second, and third starting advantages respectively.
Moto 2 has a race time of 17 minutes + 1 lap to declare the winner. Moto 2 finish order determines Moto 3 starting order: Top 1-5 in starting group 1; Top 6-15 in starting group 2; Top 16 and above in starting group 3. Starting groups 1, 2, 3 have the first, second, and third starting advantages respectively.
Only the Ski Ladies and Ski Division categories have a 3rd moto race. For Runabout GP1, the 2nd moto race will determine the race champion.
Ski Ladies Motocross Race 2 Results:
French rider Jessica Chavanne showed her class as the reigning champion, continuing her form, reaching the finish line first in the second motorbike race. After her was 23-year-old Estonian rider Jasmiin Ypraus.
Speaking after winning the second motorcycle, Jessica Chavanne shared: “Having a worthy opponent like Jasmiin motivated me to try to win. She and I are friends but we are also opponents, so when I was leading, I always tried to remind myself to stay calm and focus on the track so as not to fall down. Because the race always has surprises, you will not know what to expect.”
Ski Division Motocross Round 2 Results:
Quinten Bossche finished with a best time of 1 minute 58.209 seconds; Kavin Reiterer followed closely in second place with a best time of 2 minutes 01.551 seconds; Morgan Poret finished third with a time of 2 minutes 06.378 seconds./.
