This is the round where only 3 home teams, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Nam Dinh and PVF-CAND, can enjoy the joy of victory.

Round 1 results

The opening round of the new season witnessed impressive performances from two rookie teams.

Although having to play away against Hong Linh Ha Tinh , the team that used to be a phenomenon, the rookie Ninh Binh had a convincing 3-1 victory.

Similar to Ninh Binh , PVF CAND also showed impressive performance on the day of their debut in the professional playground.

Despite having very little time to prepare for the new season and having to face a veteran team of the professional National Championship like SLNA, PVF - CAND played very well and defeated the Nghe team with a score of 2-1.

Another team with a new name in V.League 1-2025/26, Becamex TP.HCM, also had an extremely successful opening round.

Right at the home field of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club, Pleiku Arena, Becamex TP.HCM Club won 3-0, thereby temporarily rising to the top of the V.League 1-2025/26 rankings after the end of the first round.

Defending champion Nam Dinh also showed their strength when they defeated Hai Phong 2-1 at home.

Meanwhile, Hanoi Police drew 1-1 with Viettel's The Cong in the capital's "derby".

In the remaining match, despite having home field advantage, Thanh Hoa let SHB Da Nang share points with a score of 1-1.

Round 2 of V.League 1 2025/26 will take place on August 22, 23 and 24.
