At the VF 8 Lux launch event, the test of the new version of VinFast 's virtual assistant with two experts from VinBigdata, Professor Vu Ha Van, Director of Science and Mr. Nguyen Kim Anh, Director of Products, attracted the attention of the technology community. Specifically, the two experts asked a variety of questions to show how well this new version of the virtual assistant can handle situations.

The experts' challenge was no match for Vivi (the new generation AI virtual assistant equipped on VF 8 Lux).

First, the virtual assistant ViVi was tested on advising on a 4-day, 3-night Nha Trang travel itinerary. ViVi suggested a list of places to visit for each specific day. Then, when asked the same question, ViVi gave another list of suggestions, including completely new activities, showing the ability to synthesize quickly and diversely. Through that rich amount of information, users have more options to refer to.

To increase the difficulty level for ViVi to handle, the professor gave some more specific situations such as: "Where should a family with children go in Nha Trang?". Immediately, ViVi gave some suggestions for different places compared to the first times, including playgrounds suitable for children, such as VinWonders. The virtual assistant even advised restaurants with diverse menus in Nha Trang when asked about the case of someone in the group with a seafood allergy.

VinFast representative shared that thanks to AI technology, ViVi 2.0 has a huge amount of information like an "encyclopedia" and the ability to analyze questions and respond extremely quickly, instead of just extracting information and answering according to available scenarios. The more users interact, the more knowledge the virtual assistant learns from the Internet and becomes smarter.

According to Professor Vu Ha Van, the intelligence of ViVi 2.0 lies in its ability to proactively search and match available information on the Internet to give answers that are not only accurate but also natural and contextual.

With 3,500 TB of feature data or more than 30,000 hours of high-quality voice data, ViVi 2.0 can easily recognize voices, understand context, analyze the scene and give appropriate responses. At the same time, ViVi 2.0's command recognition ability is twice as accurate as the previous version.

Thanks to AI, the virtual assistant in VinFast cars has expanded its ability to answer questions in many areas: analyzing car features, batteries, charging stations, maintenance policies; consulting on destinations, suggesting schedules, restaurants, delicious eateries; or answering zodiac signs, quizzes, consulting movie information...

After experiencing the new version of the virtual assistant on the VF 8 Lux, many experts in the automotive industry were also surprised by the intelligence of the car when integrated with AI technology.

"I have tried virtual assistants on many cars and many types of integrated screens, but I have never seen one as smart as this one. ViVi makes me feel more like a real person, able to answer a variety of questions instead of being limited to certain commands," said Le Manh Linh, a famous reviewer in the automotive industry, after trying out the new virtual assistant.

The outstanding intelligence of the new generation Vivi makes many experts and KOLs especially impressed after experiencing it.

"Interacting with ViVi is like chatting with a companion in the car, which helps me focus more while driving," he said.

Mr. Manh Linh added that he did not often use virtual assistants while driving. However, he believes that virtual assistants with artificial intelligence will change his previous habits because this new technology makes talking to cars much easier and more intimate.
