DTO - On the morning of January 27, Dong Thap Medical College (CĐYT) held the opening ceremony of the 13th General Practitioner class (school year 2024 - 2026) for 97 international students from PreyVeng province (Kingdom of Cambodia).
Attending the event were Mr. Seng Pagnarith - Director of the Department of Health of Prey Veng Province (Kingdom of Cambodia); Specialist Doctor II Nguyen Cong Cuu - Principal of Dong Thap Medical College.
During the 2 years, the international students are taught 28 subjects and courses with 63 credits by lecturers from Dong Thap Medical College. The training program focuses on specialized knowledge such as: internal medicine, first aid, pharmacology, reproductive health, social infectious diseases and Vietnamese.
Mr. Seng Pagnarith - Director of the Department of Health of PreyVeng province thanked Dong Thap Medical College for supporting the locality in training medical human resources.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Doctor Nguyen Cong Cuu - Principal of Dong Thap Medical College emphasized that the school always cares and creates favorable conditions for international students during their time studying at the school. Mr. Seng Pagnarith - Director of the Department of Health of PreyVeng province thanked the leaders of Dong Thap Medical College for creating favorable conditions for PreyVeng province to send thousands of medical staff and international students to study and improve their medical knowledge.
