Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training does not accept congratulatory flowers in any form.

According to Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, implementing the directives and resolutions of the Party and the State on practicing thrift and fighting waste, the Department of Education and Training recommends that during the preparation and organization of the opening ceremony, all schools proactively limit the solemn decoration with fresh flowers in the stage areas, podiums, school gates, etc. Only use flowers in the places that are really necessary to create highlights, ensuring aesthetics without being ostentatious or wasteful in the opening ceremony.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training does not accept congratulatory flowers in any form from agencies, organizations, businesses, parents and individuals attending and congratulating the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year. Schools need to proactively and widely announce this policy to partners, parents, etc. in many forms (documents, announcements on websites, bulletin boards, social networks, etc.).

At the same time, the Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training also shared that in recent days, people in the mountainous and midland provinces of the North and North Central regions are suffering devastating consequences caused by storms No. 4 and No. 5. To accompany and share the above difficulties, it is recommended that educational institutions in the area launch a campaign to support flood victims, guide and encourage units and individuals to convert the form of congratulations into donations and practical contributions to the school's scholarship fund or join hands to support people facing difficulties due to natural disasters and floods according to the general call of the industry.

"The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training would like to express our sincere thanks and acknowledge the attention and good feelings of agencies, units, organizations and individuals towards the city's education and training cause in the past time and sincerely hope that agencies, units, organizations and individuals will continue to pay attention and support people affected by floods caused by storms No. 4 and No. 5," said Mr. Ho Tan Minh.

Arrange audio-visual equipment to ensure live broadcast of the national opening ceremony program

Accordingly, in preparation for the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requires school principals to review conditions, arrange space and equipment to broadcast live the national opening ceremony program, coordinate with local telecommunications and television units to ensure stable signals, high-quality images and sounds. Arrange audio-visual equipment to ensure enough for the entire school to attend and follow the opening ceremony program of the 2025-2026 school year.

Schools develop detailed plans to ensure safety, solemnity, economy, and suitability to the actual situation of the unit. Note that the contents of the school's planned activities are organized concisely, ending before 8:00 or after 9:30.
