Opening of Pho Co Temple Festival 2025

On March 30 (March 2, At Ty year), the Organizing Committee of Pho Co Temple Festival (Song Cong City) opened the 2025 Pho Co Temple Festival.

The ritual of carrying the Mother Goddess (Mother Goddess II) and carrying the Ceremony (from the relic of Mother Goddess Pho Co Temple to Thanh Lam Temple).

Attending the Festival were representatives of Song Cong City leaders, agencies, units, and businesses in the area, along with many delegates, distinguished guests, people, and tourists from all over.

This year's Pho Co Temple Festival is held with many rich contents, such as: lion dance; festival drums; incense offering ceremony of delegates and guests; the Mother Goddess procession and the ceremony preparation competition of 12 residential groups of Pho Co ward.

A large number of people attended the festival.

According to historical records, Pho Co Temple was built by the people in the mid-19th century. The temple worships Holy Mother Lieu Hanh, Holy King Hung Dao, and the Three Palaces. In 2008, Pho Co Temple was recognized as a provincial historical and cultural relic.

Through the ups and downs of history, with many restorations and embellishments, Mau Pho Co Temple has become more and more spacious and majestic, but the temple still retains the traditional cultural architecture of the Vietnamese people. Along with the attention to restoration and embellishment, the management of relic activities, the preservation and promotion of the traditional cultural values of the relic have also received special attention from the local authorities.

Currently in Song Cong city, there are 33 historical and cultural relics of temples, communal houses and pagodas.
