Opening of Lang Son Province Innovation Festival for the 2025-2026 school year

- On the morning of November 21, the Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the Innovation Festival for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Attending the program were Mr. Tran Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of General Education - Ministry of Education and Training ; delegation of Ninh Minh Experimental School (Guangxi, China) ; representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh , Cao Bang, Lao Cai provinces; leaders of departments, branches and a large number of education managers, teachers, students in the province.

Innovation Festival took place in 2 days (November 21 and 22) with 4 key activities, held simultaneously at many locations including: STEM Education Workshop - the foundation of innovation; VEX Robotics National Championship 2026, Lang Son open round, with the participation of many teams from secondary and high schools; provincial robot programming and control competition with the theme "Robot planting trees", including programming skills competition, robot control to overcome obstacles and complete tasks on a simulation table; final round of the provincial student competition with startup ideas.

Comrade Tran Thanh Nhan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of the education sector in proactively organizing a large-scale, in-depth playground, contributing to promoting innovation, developing STEM - Robotics education and bringing technology into teaching.

He emphasized: The synchronous implementation of STEM, Robotics, artificial intelligence and creative startup models will create an important foundation for students to practice digital thinking, technological skills and integration ability in the context of digital transformation.

He suggested that the education sector continue to promote the spirit of creativity, link theory with practice, promote research and application of technology; at the same time, he hoped that departments, branches, localities and businesses would continue to accompany, perfect the digital environment, support facilities and expand playgrounds for students.
