The festival was also attended by nearly 500 artisans, actors, and extras from 7 districts and cities in the province, along with a large number of people and tourists from all over the country. The festival took place from August 22 to 24, 2024.

Tuyen Quang is a place where the cultures of ethnic minorities in the northern mountainous region converge and intersect, with unique festivals, legends, and folk songs and dances imbued with national identity. Currently, Tuyen Quang has 17 intangible cultural heritages that have been included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 1 heritage recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity; 54 traditional folk cultural festivals and many other valuable heritages have been inventoried.

This is an opportunity for artisans, actors, and athletes of ethnic minorities to meet, exchange, share, and learn experiences in preserving, maintaining, and promoting cultural values and traditional sports. At the program, the Organizing Committee of the festival awarded the excellent overall prize to the delegations of Yen Son and Ham Yen districts; and awarded the good prize to the remaining 5 units.

The festival is one of the contents of the Project on Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority Areas for the 2021-2030 period; is the opening event of a series of activities within the framework of the Festival of Performing Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and Thanh Tuyen Festival in 2024.
