Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong affirmed that TECHFEST Hai Phong is an annual event that has accompanied the city's development since 2017. After 9 years of organization, TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025 is not only a place to showcase new ideas, products and technological solutions, but also becomes the "Innovation Brand" of the city, a playground connecting ideas, resources and markets; arousing the confidence, creativity and aspiration to reach out to the sea of the young generation, intellectuals and the business community.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee suggested that the City Department of Science and Technology and related departments and branches need to focus on four pillars of action: Institutional and policy breakthroughs, creating a "policy testing (Sandbox)" mechanism; creating digital infrastructure and semiconductor technology; strengthening international resources and investment capital; building an incubator for "real-life" intellectuals and talents. Through this TECHFEST event, the city aims to build a space for intellectual and creative convergence, creating a platform to nurture, connect and develop startup ideas into valuable products and services, while bringing science and technology and innovation into real life and production, contributing to promoting sustainable socio -economic development.

TECHFEST Hai Phong not only bears the unique mark of the locality but also affirms the city's pioneering role in the national innovation ecosystem, demonstrating the spirit of close connection between the government - businesses - institutes - startup community.
Deputy Minister Hoang Minh also affirmed that TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025 is a concrete step to realize the spirit of the Resolution of the 1st City Party Congress (term 2026 - 2030), contributing to making science and technology and innovation become the key driving force for Hai Phong to develop rapidly and sustainably.
TECHFST Hai Phong 2025 is not only a festival of science, technology and innovation, but also demonstrates the aspiration of Hai Phong city to reach out in the digital age. With the spirit of "Unlimited creativity - Hai Phong reaches out to the ocean", the event opens up opportunities to connect intelligence, resources and technology, contributing to making Hai Phong become the leading innovation center in the region, aiming for rapid and sustainable development in the digital age./.
In 2025, Techfest Hai Phong will be larger in scale and more international in stature, gathering more than 3,000 delegates and more than 170 booths, more than 200 domestic and foreign enterprises displaying and introducing over 1,000 technology products, innovative and connecting solutions in a series of 12 thematic events taking place continuously for 03 days. |
