Connecting investment for innovative startups

In recent years, Hai Phong has been considered one of the pioneering localities in the field of innovation, continuously ranked in the Top 5 localities leading the country in the Local Innovation Index (PII). The city is promoting investment in science and technology, building innovation infrastructure, aiming to become a high-tech and innovation center of the Northern region and internationally. At the same time, the city government has issued many incentive mechanisms and policies to support the development of innovative startups, such as tax incentives, infrastructure support, local venture capital funds, contributing to the formation and expansion of the Hai Phong innovative startup ecosystem.

Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Le Luong Thinh delivered the opening speech at the connection session.

In his opening speech, the Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology affirmed that the "investment connection event" is not only an activity to support startups in "raising capital" but also a foundation, creating a strong connection between three entities: State - Enterprises - Investors. For the city's startup ecosystem, this activity is a key factor in forming an innovative value chain - from ideas, research, technology development, testing new products to commercialization and market expansion. This is also the key goal that Hai Phong city is setting, to strongly promote creative startups and innovation in the city.

At the Connection Session, delegates listened to business representatives and experts share about Hai Phong city's outstanding incentive policies for innovative startups, and analyzed venture capital market trends in Southeast Asia and opportunities for Hai Phong startups.

The event attracted the participation of many typical startup projects, including: 02 projects from Hai Phong: Chavigreen - producing natural cosmetics and Kiot Thien Thanh. 05 projects from other localities: Tinktalk - AI solution for communication and presentation practice; Building Care - Comprehensive building management platform; VnFite - Super capital connection platform; Electric glass and glass projection solution - Nano Lam Son; eTelecom - CS eTeleco / CPaaS multi-channel communication platform connecting Network Operators & Zalo; and an international project from ERAE-TECH Co., Ltd. (Korea).

The investment connection session for innovative startups is a key activity in TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025, contributing to creating an effective bridge between the Vietnamese and international business communities, promoting the commercialization of research results, innovation and knowledge-based economic development of Hai Phong city./.
