Closing of TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025

On the morning of October 11, at the City Convention and Performance Center, the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Hai Phong held the closing ceremony of TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025 - the largest annual event on science, technology and innovation of the city.

Attending the closing ceremony were the Board of Directors of the Department of Science and Technology; representatives of relevant departments, branches, sectors and units; businesses, organizations, research institutes, universities, and a large number of innovative start-up communities in the area.

In his closing speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Le Luong Thinh emphasized that TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025 is not only a place to display and introduce technology products but also a forum to connect knowledge, ideas and resources between scientists , businesses, investors, and organizations at home and abroad. During the three days, the event attracted more than 5,000 delegates and visitors, along with 175 booths from businesses, research institutes, universities, startups and international organizations. In particular, more than 500 customers directly exchanged and transacted at the booths, showing the attraction and strong spreading effect of the event. TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025 not only reflects the development trend of the times but is also a strategic orientation, contributing to making Hai Phong an influential center of innovation and high technology in the region and internationally.

According to the Organizing Committee, TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025 is implemented with the goal of spreading the spirit of innovation, arousing aspirations and potential in the community, especially the young generation. Through forums, seminars, investment connection sessions, the event creates a multi-dimensional connection platform between large enterprises, startups, investors, investment funds, startup support organizations and state management agencies. Thereby, TECHFEST not only promotes innovative products but also opens up cooperation opportunities, attracts investment capital and promotes sustainable development of the startup ecosystem.

At the same time, TECHFEST Hai Phong 2025 is an activity to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation, contributing to putting policies into practice through attracting talents and social resources. The event also has important political and social significance, welcoming the Congress of Hai Phong City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, responding to Vietnam Innovation Day (October 1) and National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), affirming Hai Phong's position as a center of innovation based on science and technology, contributing to promoting sustainable socio-economic development.
