Opening of the photo exhibition "Achievements of 100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism"

This afternoon (May 30), the national conference "100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press accompanying the glorious cause of the Party and the nation" took place in Hanoi .

In particular, taking place right before the conference was the opening event of the photo exhibition "Achievements of 100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism" by the Vietnam News Agency. The exhibition is a special "picture", sketching the whole picture of the country's journalism.

The event was attended by Party and State leaders, representatives of central departments, ministries, branches and agencies; leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association , and more than 400 delegates including experts, scientists and central and local press agencies.

At the workshop "100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanying the glorious cause of the Party and the nation", 5 main contents will be discussed by delegates such as: Revolutionary press accompanies the nation in the struggle for national independence (1925-1945); Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanies the nation in the resistance war against French colonialism and American imperialism, making important contributions to the victory of the people's national democratic revolution and national reunification; Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanies the nation in building socialism nationwide and in the period of renovation and integration; New context, advantages, difficulties and issues facing Vietnamese revolutionary press; Solutions to build and develop Vietnamese revolutionary press in the new era.

The national scientific conference “100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press accompanying the glorious cause of the Party and the nation” is a meaningful and practical activity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) to affirm the great contributions of Vietnamese revolutionary press to the glorious cause of the Party and the nation through historical stages; is a scientific forum for experts, scientists, generations of journalists, leaders and managers of press to exchange and discuss theoretical and practical issues on the history of formation and development of Vietnamese revolutionary press.

At the same time, it contributes to encouraging and motivating the team of journalists to continue promoting the glorious tradition, constantly striving to overcome all difficulties and challenges, maintaining political courage, innovation, creativity, being proactive and pioneering on the ideological and cultural fronts...

The workshop was chaired by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Journalists Association, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, and the National Political Publishing House Truth.
