Opening of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 The Golden Color of Tam Coc Trang An

On the evening of June 1, at Dong Gung Bus Station (Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area), Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee organized the opening program of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An".

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Song Tung, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Vietnam Tourism Association; departments, branches, and localities inside and outside the province; domestic and international travel agencies; and a large number of people and tourists from all over the country.

Along with the unique natural and cultural landscapes on the land of Ninh Binh, with its clear mountains and clear waters, embracing the image of the Hoa Lu capital in the heart of the motherland, Tam Coc is one of the places that carries deep historical and cultural values, the soul of Ninh Binh residents. The attraction of this place comes not only from the "hand" of creation but also from the interplay between nature and human, between the tranquility of the land and sky and the lives of the indigenous people.

Tam Coc was once voted by the international travel site Business Insider as one of the five most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam. The most impressive and attractive time is at the end of May and the beginning of June every year when the shimmering yellow color and fragrant aroma of the ripe rice fields are like a brilliant golden silk carpet winding along the poetic Ngo Dong River with thousands of stone mountains and vegetation full of vitality, creating a captivating picture.

Besides its aesthetic beauty and geological and geomorphological value, Tam Coc also contains many traces of human history from tens of thousands of years ago, creating the premise for the formation of the capital Hoa Lu in the 10th century. In particular, in the 13th century, the Tran kings relied on the rugged river and mountain shapes to build a palace, creating a position to fight against invading forces. Also here, the Buddha King Tran Nhan Tong became a monk before going to Yen Tu to establish the Truc Lam sect, which is imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 said: "Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Color" Tourism Week is an important annual tourism event in a series of activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. The event will contribute to promoting and introducing Ninh Binh tourism products and services to domestic and international tourists; at the same time affirming Ninh Binh as a unique, safe, friendly, quality and attractive destination.

Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024 with the theme "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" takes place with many cultural and artistic activities and unique tourism products from June 1 to June 8, 2024. Tourists will be able to visit and experience many unique cultural and religious activities and enjoy unique cultural and artistic programs, admire artistic rice fields, experience wet rice cultivation; perform and display traditional handicraft products, OCOP products; Tam Coc Golden Season photo tour; survey program, introduce Ninh Binh tourism products, art photo exhibition...

Through this event, Ninh Binh province wishes and hopes to continue to receive much attention, help, companionship and encouragement from Central ministries, branches, provinces, cities, press agencies, and people at home and abroad.

Right after the opening ceremony, there was a special and impressive art program, consisting of 3 parts: Vietnamese Soul, The beauty of the ancient capital, Ninh Binh converges and spreads. On the music boat, visitors were brought back to the land of mountains and waters, rich in historical and cultural identity and the beauty of the people of the ancient capital, gentle, elegant and hospitable.
