Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Bui Thuy Phuong said that Quang Ninh Week at EXPO 2025 is an opportunity to introduce to international friends an image of Quang Ninh, a place where the values of "heritage - innovation - integration - sustainable development" converge.
Quang Ninh wishes to strengthen cooperation with Japanese localities, especially the Kansai region. At the same time, it invites strategic investors in priority areas such as smart tourism , clean energy, manufacturing and processing industry...

Japanese enterprises present at EXPO 2025 wish to learn about investment opportunities in Quang Ninh
Quang Ninh Week at EXPO 2025 includes many activities such as video screenings and photo exhibitions introducing the province's attractive tourist destinations, displaying unique, high-quality local OCOP products, introducing tea ceremony, business forums, etc.
It is expected that with the number of visitors to the Vietnam Exhibition House from 8,000 to more than 10,000 per day, there will be nearly 40,000 Japanese and international visitors to see and learn about images and information about Quang Ninh province within the framework of the Week.
Among them, there are many business representatives looking for opportunities to connect and cooperate with Vietnamese businesses.
On the very first day of the Week, under the connection of the Vietnam Exhibition House, a tea enterprise from Quang Ninh met with a partner from Singapore and has the opportunity to sign a contract to supply tea in large quantities.
Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Deputy General Representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025 Tran Nhat Hoang shared that EXPO 2025 Osaka with the theme Designing the future society for our lives is a highly significant global forum where countries come together to share their visions, showcase their achievements and seek solutions to common human challenges.
“The Vietnam Exhibition House is the door that opens for international friends to better understand the country, people, culture and development potential of Vietnam,” said Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang.
EXPO 2025 is also the first World Exhibition in which the Vietnam Exhibition House - operated by the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) - implements a special program, introducing typical localities of Vietnam through many different forms.
Visitors learn about information and typical OCOP products of Quang Ninh province.
In particular, coordinating with localities to organize local weeks/days at EXPO 2025 is expected to attract much attention, effectively introduce and promote the image and strengths of the locality, creating opportunities for investment connection and cooperation for local businesses with potential Japanese and international partners from more than 150 countries participating in EXPO 2025.
Previously, in April 2025, the Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2025 in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hue City organized an event to announce the Hue National Tourism Year 2025.
After Quang Ninh, in June, Quang Nam and Binh Phuoc will be the next localities to coordinate with the Exhibition House to carry out bold cultural, tourism and investment promotion activities at EXPO 2025.
