Opening of the Press Center serving the 18th Hanoi Party Congress

Delegates visited the reporters' working process at the Press Center.

Speaking at the opening of the Press Center, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee Dao Xuan Dung emphasized that inheriting and promoting the achievements and experience of nearly 40 years of renovation, the Hanoi Party Committee has made efforts and creatively applied the Central Resolutions to the specific conditions of the Capital, achieving many outstanding results, making great contributions to the overall achievements of the whole country.

Following the leadership of the Central Committee, the City Party Committee has focused on building and rectifying a strong Party and political system; innovating leadership methods, improving the capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and the quality of cadres; solving many big, new and difficult problems, creating a foundation for rapid and sustainable development.

Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Hanoi Party Committee Dao Xuan Dung said that the Hanoi Party Congress will take place from October 15 to 17, 2025 at the National Convention Center, with the task of reviewing the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Congress; determining the direction and tasks for the development of the capital in the 2025-2030 period, with a vision to 2045; electing the 18th Executive Committee and the Delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the 18th Hanoi Party Congress has a special significance, guiding the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of the capital to promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, contributing to building a "Cultured - Civilized - Modern" Hanoi, pioneering with the whole country to enter an era of prosperous and powerful development.

The leaders of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization affirmed that the Press Center is equipped with modern facilities, demonstrating the city's leaders' deep concern for communication work. The Center will be the focal point for providing official, fast, and convenient information to reporters, contributing to spreading the spirit of the 18th Congress to the people of the Capital and the whole country.

The Press Center will operate from October 14 to 17, 2025 at the National Convention Center. During the Congress, the Center will direct and guide press activities, organize the issuance of press releases after each working session and hold a press conference to announce the results of the Congress on the afternoon of October 17, 2025.
