YenBai - As part of a series of special activities to celebrate the Ceremony of receiving the Second Class Labor Medal, the Ceremony to announce the decision that the district meets new rural standards associated with the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Van Yen District (December 16, 1964 - December 16, 2024) and the 5th Cinnamon Festival in 2024, Van Yen District recently organized the opening of a walking street at the District Park with the theme "Colors of Van Yen".

Attending the ceremony were comrade Vu Thi Hien Hanh - Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee.
The walking street is designed around the park lake, with each segment having its own distinct theme, eye-catching stalls, colorful murals, artistic photo corners... All of these create a space that is both nostalgic and modern, attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience.
Delegates visited the exhibition booth of the old Tet with the theme: Mr. Do giving calligraphy.
The highlight of the street is the unique space imbued with the traditional features of the Vietnamese people and ethnic groups in Van Yen district such as: the old Tet space with the theme of Mr. Do giving calligraphy; selling Tet decorations; selling dried flowers; space for children's folk games; light segments projected with modern LED technology make the street more sparkling, magical and new...
Inside the walking street is a painting street with paintings reflecting the district's development over 60 years of construction and development, 14 years of efforts to build a new rural district, the traditional cultural beauty of ethnic minorities, expressing the aspirations of the heroic Van Yen district.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the Ceremony of receiving the Second Class Labor Medal, the Ceremony of announcing the decision of the district meeting the new rural standards associated with the 60th Anniversary of the District's Establishment (December 16, 1964 - December 16, 2024) and the 5th Cinnamon Festival in 2024.
