At the program, more than 500 elderly people and people in difficult circumstances received free eye examinations, check-ups, and screenings from doctors at Saigon Eye Hospital Ngo Gia Tu and Saigon Eye Hospital Binh Duong, along with free medication.

On October 24th, in Tan Dong Hiep ward, the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society organized a program to provide in-depth eye examinations and gifts to the elderly and people in difficult circumstances in the area.

On this occasion, 200 disadvantaged families received gifts of essential items such as rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, salt, and seasoning. The total value of the program was 300 million VND.
