Discover the Ta Lai rice fields - Dong Nai

Located 130km from Ho Chi Minh City, there's a vast rice field interspersed with tall trees standing alone, creating a very "cinematic" scene. At the Ta Lai rice field in Dong Nai, you don't need much setup; just walk into the middle of the field and you'll have a great photo opportunity.

Here are some tips for visiting Ta Lai rice fields during the dry season:

- MORNING: The best time to go to the fields is from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. The weather is still cool at this time, and sometimes a thin layer of mist floats across the fields, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The early morning sunlight is gentle, not harsh, resulting in clear photos of people or landscapes, with very clean colors.

- AFTERNOON: Don't go too early, arrive around 4:30 PM. Around 5 PM, the sun starts to soften, so standing in the fields won't be too harsh. The photos will be beautiful. The best time is between 5:30 PM and 6 PM; the golden sunlight makes everything look poetic, but you have to take pictures quickly because the sun sets very fast.
