According to information from the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Hai Van Quan has just been digitized into a 3D tourist map. This technological solution aims to bring visitors interesting experiences, helping them explore the majestic natural landscape on the top of Hai Van Pass.
Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the project implementation unit, said that tourists can visit Hai Van Pass with 3D digital maps through stories and check-in missions at 9 special locations.
This check-in platform will record the presence of tourists at Hai Van Quan. At the same time, provide multi-interactive experiences for tourists.
Accordingly, 3D digital map will recreate the majestic natural panorama of Hai Van peak. Visitors can admire and explore historical sites and works from each period, associated with important milestones.
This is an opportunity for visitors to step into an interactive world where culture, history and technology blend together. From there, enjoy unique and exciting travel experiences.
Dubbed “The most majestic pass in the world”, the old National Highway 1 passing through the Hai Van Pass is a stopover for many people on their long journey. This 2017 National Monument was built by the Nguyen Dynasty in a strategic position to control the road and Da Nang Bay, serving as a military defense for the Hue Citadel.
To explore Hai Van Quan with a 3D digital map, visitors only need to use their smartphone, connect to the check-in board with NFC chip at the tourist attraction. Then, access each area and event milestone to conveniently explore according to their interests.
The 3D map also has a remote check-in function, allowing users to interact with 9 important locations of Hai Van Quan anywhere in the world. Each destination is associated with historical stories. The accompanying illustrations are built in great detail, helping users embark on a journey to explore the heritage in virtual space.
After 20 days of implementation, the project has attracted more than 2,000 check-ins at Hai Van Quan. Hundreds of memorable moments have also been shared.
This solution also supports guests to save and post their experiences on personal pages and websites. Thereby, encouraging domestic and foreign tourists to spread good stories and inspiration to explore Vietnamese heritage.
Built at an altitude of 490 m above sea level, Hai Van Quan is a structure containing many cultural and historical values. After a long period of restoration, in early August 2024, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang agreed to open this place for free visits. |
