About 20 km from the center of Da Nang city and nearly 7 km from DT602 road (towards Ba Na), Hoa Trung lake is one of the favorite destinations for locals and tourists thanks to its green landscape and beautiful scenery.

Hoa Trung is an artificial lake, providing domestic water and irrigation for residents of Hoa Lien and Hoa Ninh communes of Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city.

However, around September and October every year, Hoa Trung Lake will enter the dry season.

At this time, the water in the lake has decreased significantly, revealing mounds of earth that, seen from above, look like islands, covered with green trees on the water surface.
