The exhibition is held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press. The event takes place from June 18-21 at the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper, 71 Hang Trong, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi .
Experience from real space to virtual space
Entering the exhibition space, the public can admire images of journalism through historical periods. From secret printing bunkers, fierce battlefields to modern newsrooms, all are vividly recreated. Typical journalistic works, documentary videos and multimedia products are also introduced, demonstrating the development of journalism in the digital age.
Many valuable documents, images and artifacts are displayed, introducing information about the first newspapers such as Thanh Nien, Viet Nam Doc Lap to publications during the resistance war and renovation.
Journalist Vu Mai Hoang, Head of Technology Department, Nhan Dan Newspaper, informed that the event organizing team has integrated technological elements to apply to the exhibition. All areas are designed with QR codes attached. Visitors can scan this QR code to access the Vietnam Revolutionary Press website, which was also recently launched by Nhan Dan Newspaper on this important occasion.
"From the actual exhibition to the special page on Nhan Dan e-newspaper, it shows the development journey of Revolutionary Journalism over the past 100 years. In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to explore the Traditional House of Nhan Dan Newspaper in real life, as well as experience it through virtual space," journalist Vu Mai Hoang shared.

The Nhan Dan Newspaper Reading Station is also a special highlight in the exhibition space "Nhan Dan Newspaper in the flow of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism". Here, readers can search for a variety of publications of the newspaper, and hold in their hands the supplements that have been sought after by many young people in recent times. "The Nhan Dan Newspaper Reading Station model is expected to be widely deployed throughout the country", added journalist Vu Mai Hoang.

According to journalist Vu Mai Hoang, at a time when digital media is developing strongly, print newspapers are not given much attention compared to other forms of multimedia. One of the ways that Nhan Dan Newspaper has implemented to bring print newspapers closer to readers is to integrate more technological elements.
For example, with the special supplement launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30, with just a few operations on the phone, readers can explore images from the resistance war, and view the virtual reality map vividly. This combination has brought completely different experiences to the public.
"Through activities such as book launches, special publications and exhibitions, the staff of Nhan Dan Newspaper always hopes to contribute a small part to the development of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism," said journalist Vu Mai Hoang.
Innovation of Nhan Dan Newspaper from the perspective of young people
Visiting the exhibition "Nhan Dan Newspaper in the flow of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism" on the first opening day, Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc, a first-year student, Faculty of Communication and Foreign Culture, Diplomatic Academy, expressed her interest in the documents displayed at the exhibition.
"The exhibition has introduced in a comprehensive and systematic way the important milestones in the history of Revolutionary Journalism. Thanks to that, readers can learn about the whole development process from the past to the present. That process further highlights the mark of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the flow of Vietnamese journalism as the newspaper is increasingly improved in content and quality, expanding to many languages", Hong Ngoc shared with reporters.

Looking back at the innovations of Nhan Dan Newspaper in recent times, student Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc emphasized her love for the innovations in content.
"In addition to focusing on political information, Nhan Dan Newspaper now also conveys cultural and social issues in a close and profound way. Along with the trend of hunting for printed newspapers, this interesting information has attracted more Gen Z young people to read Nhan Dan Newspaper," said Hong Ngoc.

Visiting the exhibition with her friends, Cao Linh Chi, a first-year student at the Diplomatic Academy, said: From the events, special publications, and unique exhibitions, young people are more curious and want to learn more about the content published in Nhan Dan Newspaper.
"We came to the exhibition to find out why the content produced by Nhan Dan Newspaper is so 'hot'. And then when we walked around the exhibition space, held the products in our hands, felt the meticulous investment and creativity in each daily, weekend, monthly printed newspaper and Thoi Nay publication, we found the answer for ourselves," Linh Chi confided.
Coming to this exhibition, Linh Chi and her friends were especially impressed by the colors and layout of the exhibition space.
"Using the main colors of red and yellow - two colors found in the Vietnamese national flag, the exhibition space is designed simply but with a purpose in terms of arrangement. This arrangement not only creates a visual impression but also helps readers immerse themselves in the space to explore the history of journalism," Linh Chi added.
The exhibition "Nhan Dan Newspaper in the flow of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism" not only preserves historical memories but also serves as a bridge to bring the public closer to the cultural, ideological and professional values of Revolutionary Journalism.
