More than 1,000 youth projects to be implemented in the first 6 months of 2025
More than 1,000 provincial and grassroots youth projects have been implemented by Nghe An youth in the first 6 months of 2025. The projects have promoted the pioneering and creative role of youth in participating in socio-economic development, accompanying the province in implementing key goals.

On the morning of July 17, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the province held a conference to review the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the first 6 months of the year; deploy directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025. Attending the program were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Young Doctors' Association, the Young Entrepreneurs' Association, the Provincial Student Association, the public service units under the Provincial Youth Union and representatives of the Youth Union bases in the whole province. With the theme of 2025 "Nghe An Youth, proud and confident in following the Party", in the first 6 months of 2025, all levels of the Youth Union in the whole province have deployed synchronously, the response activities took place enthusiastically with the participation of many youths. In particular, political and ideological education work is focused on, along with organizing peak activities to celebrate major holidays and important events of the country and the province. The "Digital Literacy for All" movement was launched widely, with the goal of forming 100% "Digital Union members", aiming to improve digital capacity for the entire community, especially those who still face many difficulties in accessing technology.

In the first half of the year alone, 85 “Digital Literacy” teams were established, 128 training sessions were organized, and digital skills were disseminated to more than 15,000 people. Youth Unions at all levels have also established community digital transformation teams, implemented administrative procedures on Online Public Services, and coordinated the construction of “Cashless Market” and “Market 4.0” models, digital libraries, and electronic bookcases. Nghe An youth are contributing to narrowing the digital gap, bringing technology closer to the lives of all people.
With the cooperation of the community, support from socialized resources and especially thousands of volunteer working days of young people, in just the first 6 months of the year, 11 temporary and dilapidated houses were eliminated with a total value of nearly 385 million VND.
Volunteer activities to participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas have been actively implemented by the Youth Union at all levels. The Youth Union at all levels has registered to undertake and organize the implementation of effective models such as: participating in repairing and maintaining civilized streets, building "blossom capacitors", "youth flower gardens" models; establishing volunteer teams to build civilized and modern urban areas. Implementing many solutions to preserve and promote cultural and historical heritages and valuable architectural works.
It is estimated that there are 3 provincial-level youth projects, 65 district-level youth projects (before the merger) and more than 1,000 grassroots youth projects implemented by Nghe An youth in the first 6 months of 2025.

Referring to the tasks in the last 6 months of the year, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy emphasized 6 key tasks. Notable among them are contents related to the activities of the Youth Union to promote the merger of administrative units, build a model of organizing 2-level local government; Project to merge the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations; instructions and guidance of the Central Youth Union on the arrangement of organization, staff and activities of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the provincial and communal levels... Continue to deploy solutions to implement the 2025 working theme associated with with the implementation of annual work targets and term targets. Focus on volunteer activities to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Deploy many volunteer activities applying information technology, digital transformation, supporting and helping young people to promote creativity, do business, confidently start a business, establish a career, and integrate in the new era.

Some outstanding results
+) 191,985 cadres, union members and youth participated in activities
volunteer activities organized by the Union and Association.
+) 825 ideas and initiatives of union members and youth were supported by the Union to be implemented and realized. +) 70% of young people have access to digital capacity building activities implemented by Youth Union, Association, and Pioneer organizations at all levels; 50% of young people use online public services; 80% of young people use electronic payment accounts.
The whole province planted 328,845 new trees (reaching 66%).
+) Support 6 billion 114 million VND for young people to borrow capital to start a business, establish a career, and develop the economy (reaching 61.14%), 14 creative startup projects of young people were supported by the Youth Union (46.7%). +) 1,250 young people were equipped with knowledge and trained to improve human resources in entrepreneurship and business administration. 55,682 youth union members received career counseling (61.9%); 19,142 youth union members were introduced to jobs (76.6%).
+) 36,527 children in difficult circumstances are supported by Youth Union organizations at all levels.
+) Organized the admission of 18,807 new members (reaching 67.2%); the youth solidarity rate reached 77%.
+) 3,835 outstanding union members were introduced to the Party for consideration of admission (reaching 54.6%), admitting 821 new party members from outstanding union members.
