Immediately after the storm passed, Quang Ninh Electricity requested the Regional Power Management Team to mobilize maximum human resources to organize inspection, zoning of the incident, striving to restore power to customers tonight (July 22).
Quang Ninh Power Company also focuses on implementing all measures to ensure absolute safety during the inspection and troubleshooting of the power grid when working in heavy rain and strong winds. At the same time, the Company closely coordinates with local authorities and media agencies to organize propaganda on preventing and combating electrical accidents in the residential area due to the impact of storms such as: falling electric poles, broken electric wires, electric leakage, etc.
Previously, Quang Ninh Electricity Company had made plans to respond to storm No. 3 such as: Organizing the re-establishment of on-duty shifts for 110kV transformer stations without on-site operators when required; arranging on-duty teams to handle power grid incidents in remote areas at risk of being cut off by floodwaters, landslides and traffic disruptions, ensuring that forces are always ready to mobilize immediately when required, promptly serving the work of troubleshooting and restoring power supply. Especially the work of checking the power grid, preparing materials and equipment, human resources ready to be on duty 24/24 and plans to ensure power supply for important loads such as urban drainage systems, hospitals, and disaster prevention command agencies.
