On May 23, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to announce the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival and Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival 2024.
These are two key events, of national and international scale, organized towards the goal of Khanh Hoa welcoming 9 million overnight guests (3 million international visitors) with revenue reaching about 40,000 billion VND in 2024.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism said that in 2022, the first Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival was successfully organized, leaving many good impressions on domestic and international businesses and tourists.
In 2024, Khanh Hoa province will continue to organize the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival with the theme "Nha Trang Pearl Bay Shines Brightly" from June 13 to 16 to promote tourism, introduce brands, services, products, culture, and typical cuisine to domestic and international friends and tourists.
The event includes main programs such as the Opening Ceremony with the theme "Sea of Elites"; Dance Competition "Hipfest Summer 2024", Bikini Fashion Show "Ocean Muse"; Dance, folk dance and music festival; Fashion and art show "Honoring Vietnamese identity"; Bartender performance; EDM performance; Saigon Beer Festival, Food Festival, Coffee Festival, Fruit Festival and regional specialties...
Along with that is the cyclo parade combined with beautiful Ao Dai performance; Light Carnival Parade; Harley Davidson Motor Parade; Unique Nha Trang H-Marathon; Art performance program, fashion show; The 3rd Nha Trang Open International Amateur Golf Tournament in 2024...
At the event, there will be about 200 tourism, service, commercial and culinary booths operating in an open space, without selling tickets or covering the surrounding area so that visitors and locals can easily visit, learn, access and use the products and services at the Festival from many directions of the organizing area...
It is expected that the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2024 will have 350,000 - 400,000 domestic and international visitors and foreign diplomatic missions in Vietnam attending.
Notably, in the summer of 2024, Khanh Hoa will also organize the Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival - Ever Glamour Nha Trang 2024 (EGN 2024). The Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival 2024 with the theme "Glorious Galaxy" is the first Drone light performance competition in Vietnam with 4 teams from Korea, China, France, UAE, each team performing with at least 1,000 drones.
Specifically, on July 13, the Opening Ceremony and Competition Night 1 between the two teams Korea - China, with the theme "Nha Trang shines - Glamour Nha Trang" will be held at 2/4 Square, Nha Trang City.
On July 20, the second competition night between the two teams France and UAE, with the theme "Night of the Wonders" and the Closing Ceremony was held at Hon Tre Island - Vinpearl Harbor Nha Trang, Nha Trang City.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh said that Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival 2024 - an important event in the Khanh Hoa tourism stimulus strategy project for the period 2023-2025 and orientation to 2030.
The event is expected to help realize and shorten the time to position Khanh Hoa tourism brand - international standard through the formation of unique tourism products of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.
At the same time, combined with destination communication work, creating an impression on global tourists, meeting the expectations of people, tourists, as well as domestic and international press agencies.
The event is expected to attract more than 50,000 people and tourists to participate directly each night, reaching more than 20,000 audiences nationwide through national and local television channels, millions of shares through social networking sites Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube, ...

The Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism also said that in addition to the above events, in the 3 summer months of 2024 in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, there will also be the WonderFest 2024 International Sea Festival lasting throughout the summer at Vinpearl Harbor and VinWonders Nha Trang.
WonderFest brings together a series of exciting entertainment and tourism events from day to night, including the Wonder Water War, street culture festival, cosplay festival, Beer Festival and a series of cheering activities and shows every day...
In particular, the live action show “Rise of the Ocean Princess” with the world’s first stage completely on the sea and eye-catching performances combining brilliant fireworks, sound effects, lighting, and cutting-edge technology promises to be an experience not to be missed this summer.
Notably, from now until August 24, 2024, with the permission of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, VinWonders Nha Trang will fire fireworks every day of the week. In particular, visitors will enjoy high-altitude fireworks every Saturday and on holidays.
