Inauguration of "Reading Culture Space" at Tien Phuoc District Medical Center

(QNO) - This morning, June 19, the Tien Phuoc District Red Cross Association coordinated with Wana Beverage Joint Stock Company (Binh Duong Province) to hand over and put into use the "Reading Culture Space" at the District Medical Center campus.

Through the Tien Phuoc District Red Cross Society, Wana Beverage Joint Stock Company supported nearly 70 million VND, the District Medical Center contributed about 30 million VND to build a "Reading Culture Space" with an area of ​​nearly ^300m2 with reading tables and chairs, free coffee for reading.

The construction of the "Reading Culture Space" is expected to contribute to promoting reading activities, improving knowledge for medical staff and patients when coming to the District Medical Center for examination and treatment.

At the handover ceremony, leaders of Tien Phuoc District People's Committee and a number of organizations and individuals presented 550 books; Wana Beverage Joint Stock Company supported 10 massage machines worth 8.5 million VND; teacher Le Anh Hung - volunteer of the District Red Cross Association presented a drinking water filter worth nearly 6 million VND to the District Medical Center.

Vinh Tien Construction Design, Trading and Production Company Limited ( Binh Duong province) supported 20 million VND to repair the "Humanitarian House" for the family of Ms. Phan Thi Tung (Tien My commune, Tien Phuoc) who has difficult housing circumstances and regularly receives medical treatment at the District Medical Center.

Tien Phuoc District Red Cross also presented 15 gifts (cotton blankets) to patients in difficult circumstances being treated at the District Medical Center.
