News, pepper price forecast tomorrow June 20, 2025 temporarily adjusts the price
Domestic market on June 20, 2025
Pepper price forecast for tomorrow, June 20: Slight fluctuations in a downward direction are likely to occur. Pepper prices are likely to remain around the current level or decrease slightly by 100 - 200 VND/kg in some areas with abundant supply such as Gia Lai and Binh Phuoc.
Three main factors affect price movements:
Farmer psychology: With prices above VND130,000/kg, many households still have certain profits after harvest, especially in organic farming areas with good productivity. The pressure to sell to make a profit can make it difficult for the market to maintain long-term stability.
Lack of motivation from the international market: World pepper prices on June 18 were recorded to be flat in all key markets. This did not create new impetus for domestic prices to increase.
Sustainable production promotion activities: Although boosting long-term confidence, there is no immediate impact on short-term demand or export prices.
International market on June 20, 2025
The world market is calm: World pepper prices remain stable, with no decrease or increase recorded. Purchasing power is in a period of stagnation, especially in the US and European markets due to the impact of the strong USD, slowing down purchasing decisions.
With all the above factors, the scenario of sideways and slight decrease in the range of 100 - 200 VND/kg is the highest probability for pepper prices tomorrow. Pepper growers should closely update price developments, not sell massively when there are signs of slight decrease and take advantage of training programs to improve product quality. Although there may be slight decreases, pepper prices still maintain a level higher than the same period last year by about 10 - 15%, showing that the long-term positive signal is still clear.
