High School Graduation Exam 2025: Quang Nam is ready for a safe and serious exam

The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27. At this point, all preparations have been almost completed, ready for the exam to take place safely and seriously.

Focus on training in exam skills

One of the most important tasks in the stages of exam preparation is to implement exam regulations and provide professional training for the exam staff. This year, this task was proactively and early implemented by the Department of Education and Training.

Specifically, right after participating in training conferences related to the exam work organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, in mid-April, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to deploy the organization of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. And on June 17, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to train exam invigilation skills. This is a decisive conference, the final step in the preparation to help leaders, secretaries, and inspectors of exam sites prepare best to organize a safe and serious exam.

Nearly 500 people participated in the training, including members of the examination council, members of the examination committee; heads, deputy heads of examination sites, secretaries of examination sites in the province and members of the inspection team. All were informed about some new points of this year's examination, and trained in professional skills of organizing examinations, invigilation and examination inspection.

Besides, the representative of the Provincial Police guided the implementation of coordination work and measures to ensure security and safety of the exam.

According to Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Viet Tuong, with the spirit of "all those working in the examination must be trained", the professional training related to the examination is of primary concern to the industry, the training is very thorough, even the teachers and staff working in the inspection work write a report after attending the training.

“This is extremely important content, contributing to the success of the upcoming exam. Therefore, teachers working on the exam must be extremely focused, uphold a sense of responsibility for their work, and absolutely not be subjective. Only then can the exam take place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations,” Mr. Tuong noted.

The Department of Education and Training said that participating in the organization of this year's exam will be more than 3,600 officials and teachers as leaders of exam sites, invigilators, and supervisors, of which the largest number is invigilators with more than 1,900 people. In addition, there are more than 1,000 people from many forces such as police, medical staff , security guards, and security guards on duty to ensure security, safety, and health care for candidates at exam sites in the province. All are fully informed of the requirements and regulations related to their functions and tasks at the exam according to the exam regulations.

Timely support for candidates

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training, in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Quang Nam has a total of nearly 18,600 candidates registered to take the exam (an increase of about 1,100 candidates compared to last year). The whole province will arrange 62 exam sites (7 more than last year), including 52 exam sites at high schools, 10 exam sites at secondary schools (due to the large number of candidates and some high schools not ensuring facilities). There are 2 exam sites for candidates taking the exam according to the 2006 GeneralEducation Program in Hoi An and Tam Ky.

To create favorable conditions for candidates to participate in the exam and achieve the best results, the Department of Education and Training has implemented many support plans for candidates before and during the exam, especially for students in mountainous areas and ethnic minorities. Specifically, the Department of Education and Training has established many delegations to inspect and support the high school graduation exam review at high schools and ethnic minority general schools in 6 mountainous districts. Thereby, supporting, advising, and helping the school's teaching staff to have the content, methods, and forms of organizing review suitable for each type of student.

This is also a source of encouragement, promoting the sense of responsibility of schools and teachers, aiming for the highest quality and most effective exam. In particular, this year, for the first time, the Department of Education and Training organized a graduation mock exam in the whole province to help students get familiar with the exam structure, on that basis classifying students to have appropriate tutoring and training plans.

Implementing the province's directive "no candidate must drop out of the exam due to economic or travel difficulties", localities and units have policies to provide timely support. Schools selected as exam sites in mountainous districts have plans to arrange food and accommodation for candidates in the school's dormitory during the exam period. In addition, in coordination with local youth unions, schools organize the "Exam Support" program, promptly supporting candidates with transportation, drinking water as well as contributing to handling incidents such as candidates having accidents, health problems, etc.

The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27. On June 25, candidates will go to the exam room to complete the exam registration procedures and listen to the exam regulations. On June 26 and 27, candidates will take two exams in Literature, Mathematics and an optional exam of two subjects. As for candidates studying under the 2006 General Education Program (more than 500 candidates), they will take exams in Literature, Mathematics, foreign languages, natural science exams (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or social science exams (History, Geography, Civic Education).
