Attending the ceremony were leaders from the Department of Education and Training, leaders from the People's Committee of Vinh Hoa and Vinh Xuong communes, the school's management board, teachers, parents, and students.
At the ceremony, delegates enjoyed musical performances and a fashion show presented by the school's students; cut the ribbon to inaugurate and tour the eco-friendly library; and participated in games with prizes organized by the school.
The friendly library at Vinh Hoa "A" Primary School has an area of 124m² , with 7363 books; the library at Vinh Xuong "A" Primary School has an area of 178m² , with over 1700 books on children's topics, science , history, literature, fairy tales, fables, etc. The libraries are open every day of the week to serve students and teachers who come to learn, research information, read books on-site, and borrow books to take home.
This place is fully equipped with furniture, bookshelves, an art corner, a research corner, a game corner, etc., with many colorful and creative images, spacious, clean and beautiful, creating a friendly and welcoming reading environment for students and teachers.
The friendly library was put into operation to foster reading habits among students, to enrich their knowledge, to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training; and to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning and developing a reading culture in schools.
