On August 2, the Military Youth Committee delegation led by Colonel Tran Huu Dung, Deputy Head of the Military Youth Committee, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, conducted a survey on the results of organizing the military semester (HKQD) in 2023.

In 2023, the Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union to develop a plan to organize 2 HKQD classes for young people studying at secondary and high schools in Ninh Thuan province, aged 11-17, each class from 150-160 students. A plan was developed and specific tasks were assigned to the Provincial Youth Union units, the Provincial Military Command, the 896th Infantry Regiment, and the Department of Education and Training in developing a plan to organize the program and propagate in the system of secondary and high schools across the province. Speaking at the conference, Colonel Tran Huu Dung, Deputy Head of the Military Youth Department, highly appreciated the organization of the military semester program in Ninh Thuan province. Notably, the staff work of the Party Committee and local authorities paid attention and created adequate conditions for the implementation of the military semester program. The work of preparing content, forces, and locations for the program was well done. The work of close coordination ensured the safety of the children when each course ended.
