The first online meeting of the Steering Committee summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW on international integration

On August 2, the Government Office held the first national online meeting of the Steering Committee summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW dated April 10, 2013 of the 11th Politburo on international integration (HNQT). Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the meeting. Also attending were Deputy Prime Ministers: Tran Luu Quang and Tran Hong Ha. Attending at the provincial bridge point was comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The meeting heard Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son announce Decision No. 534/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Steering Committee to develop a Project to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW and the operating regulations of the members of the Steering Committee; the leader of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on the draft summary of 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW and the work to serve the summary of the resolution that has been deployed to date. A number of central and local ministries, branches and sectors presented reports on the results of 10 years of implementing international cooperation in the fields of culture, society; science - technology; education - training, national defense - security and proposed directions and tasks until 2030.

Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW is of utmost importance, marking a new step forward in international integration, contributing to enhancing the country's role and position with partners around the world . In addition to the achieved results, the implementation of the Resolution still has certain shortcomings and limitations; the Prime Minister requested members of the Steering Committee to focus on reviewing and identifying the situation, thereby proposing tasks and solutions, especially breakthrough strategies to improve the effectiveness of international integration in all fields in the new context. He requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to actively coordinate closely with relevant agencies to synthesize and supplement the contents and proposals at the meeting to develop and complete the content of the report to be submitted to the Steering Committee for reporting to competent authorities for consideration; at the same time, doing a good job of preparing for the 10-year review of the implementation of Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW to ensure the quality and roadmap set out...
