On July 11, the humanitarian television program Thit vong song (Aspiration to Live) produced by Radio - Television and Binh Phuoc Newspaper (BPTV) in collaboration with the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities - Orphans and Poor Patients of Binh Phuoc Province and Nhat Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Joint Stock Company organized a connection to give money to Mr. Bui Van Duc, a Muong ethnic group with visual impairment in Hamlet 5, Dong Tien Commune, Dong Phu District.

The Association for the Support of the Disabled - Orphans and Poor Patients of the province connected and donated more than 12 million VND to the family.
Red Cross Society and Women's Union of Dong Tien commune mobilized to donate 12 million VND and necessities to support the family.

Born with bright eyes, but due to an accident during his military service, Duc's eyes were completely damaged and he could not see. After being discharged from the army and returning to his hometown, Duc chose to learn massage to make a living. However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, Duc was also unemployed. At this time, his wife had a traffic accident, broke her leg and had to undergo multiple surgeries, and could not go to work, making the life of the family of four very difficult and deprived.
More than 182 million VND is the total amount of money that the program "Aspiration to Live" connecting philanthropists, clubs, teams, volunteer groups and local authorities donated to support Mr. Duc's family. After discussing with the family and local authorities, the program's Organizing Committee agreed to allocate 170 million VND to open 2 savings books in the bank, of which, a savings book of 70 million VND is used to rent a house to open a massage facility; a savings book of 100 million VND is reserved for emergencies, and the remaining 12 million VND is for the family to temporarily use for living expenses.
“I would like to thank the Aspiration to Live program for helping me with this large sum of money. The amount of money exceeds my family’s wishes. My wife and I will try to work hard to develop the economy , take care of our children and support our elderly parents,” Duc said emotionally.
Vice Chairwoman of Dong Tien Commune People's Committee Tran Thi Hoa said: This money will help Duc's family have conditions to do business, get medical treatment to develop the economy. The locality will continue to accompany and support the family in the coming time.
