16 excellent works were awarded at the 12th Binh Thuan Provincial Press Awards Ceremony

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Binh Thuan Provincial Journalists Association Le Hong Van affirmed that the Binh Thuan Provincial Newspaper Awards is an important event to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

The Binh Thuan Provincial Press Awards Council has received 41 press works submitted to compete in the 12th Provincial Press Awards - 2023, including 17 print press works, 9 electronic press works, 9 television works and 6 radio works from Binh Thuan Newspaper, Binh Thuan Radio - Television Station, Binh Thuan Literature and Arts Magazine and authors working at central press agencies and provinces and cities.

According to the Press Council's assessment, many participating press works have in-depth quality, have a widespread influence in society, have the ability to orient public opinion, and reflect current and prominent local issues.

Many entries were invested in quite elaborately, investigative reports in many episodes, with topicality that received special attention from the public and readers, creating social effects, contributing to orienting public opinion. Many press works are important sources of information for Party committees and authorities in leading, managing the socio -economy and protecting local security and social order.

The 12th Binh Thuan Press Awards Council in 2023 selected 16 works with high scores to award prizes, including 3 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 3 C prizes and 7 consolation prizes for the categories of print, electronic, television and radio.

On this occasion, the Provincial Journalists Association also awarded commemorative medals to reporters and editors for their journalism career and admitted 10 journalists as members of the Vietnam Journalists Association . At the same time, Chairman of the Binh Thuan Journalists Association Le Hong Van officially launched the 13th Binh Thuan Provincial Newspaper Award - 2024.
