When will universities announce admission scores for 2025?

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, universities will begin announcing the first round of admission scores from August 20 to 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training 's guidelines for university and college admissions in 2025, after candidates finish registering for university admissions, from July 29, training institutions will upload data and admission information; high school graduation exam scores; high school study results on the System; exam scores... (if any) to organize admissions.

Candidates' wishes will be processed and virtually filtered on the Ministry of Education and Training's General Admission System from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20.

From August 20, after the Ministry of Education and Training's General Admission System finishes virtual filtering, schools can announce admission benchmark scores.

The deadline for training institutions to notify candidates who have passed the first round is 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires training institutions not to ask candidates to confirm admission or enroll before August 22 and not to complete admission confirmation before August 30.

Successful candidates must confirm their admission online for the first round on the System before 5:00 p.m. on August 30. Confirming admission is mandatory. After this deadline, if the candidate does not confirm admission, it means that they have refused admission and the school may give the opportunity to another candidate.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year's admission season has more than 849,000 candidates registering for admission with more than 7.6 million university and college admission wishes. On average, each candidate registers 8.96 wishes.

The number of candidates registering for university and college entrance exams this year accounts for 73.3% of the total of more than 1.16 million candidates registering for the High School Graduation Exam, an increase of nearly 116,000 compared to last year. According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the number of candidates increased because this year the system also includes registration for admission to vocational colleges.

The number of candidates registering for the High School Graduation Exam but not participating in the university entrance exam is about 310,000./.
