The Dau Giay-Tan Phu Expressway Construction Investment Project (Phase 1) under the public-private partnership (PPP) model has a total length of over 60km. The project has an investment of over VND8,400 billion. Of which, investor capital is over VND7,100 billion and state capital is about VND1,300 billion.
Component project 3 (expressway construction investment) is over 112km long under the Ring Road 4 Project - Hanoi Capital Region with a planned scale of 6 lanes, investment phase of 4 lanes, preliminary total investment of about 56,536 billion VND.
Component 1 project of Gia Nghia-Chon Thanh expressway has a total route length of about 124.13km; the phased phase, implementing investment on a scale of 4 complete expressway lanes, has a total investment of 19,965 billion VND.
It is expected that on August 19, 2025, the whole country will complete an additional 208km of the main route of the Vung Ang-Bung component project (55km), Van Ninh-Cam Lo (66km), the remaining 13km of the Van Phong-Nha Trang component project, some sections of the Quang Ngai -Hoai Nhon component project (10/88km), Hoai Nhon-Quy Nhon (45/70km), Quy Nhon-Chi Thanh (20/62km), bringing the total number of roads nationwide to 2,476km.
In addition, many projects are scheduled to be completed in 2026 such as: Component Project 1 of Chau Doc-Can Tho -Soc Trang ; Dong Dang-Tra Linh and Huu Nghi Chi Lang; Component Projects 1 and 3 of Khanh Hoa-Buon Ma Thuot, but have also made efforts to deploy and strive to complete the route or complete eligible sections by the end of 2025, shortening the plan by 4-5 months.
The Ministry of Construction also noted that some projects are scheduled to be completed in 2025, with a large volume while the rainy season comes earlier than usual and is expected to last longer, affecting the implementation of construction, potentially causing risks of delay in completion according to plan, requiring extraordinary efforts, close supervision, and flexible management to ensure the completion plan of 3,000km of expressways, especially Component Projects 3 and 5 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Component Project 1 Bien Hoa-Vung Tau (length 16km with Dong Nai as the managing agency), Tuyen Quang-Ha Giang.
Statistics from the Ministry of Construction show that the total construction output value of expressway projects in the first 6 months of 2025 reached more than 66,500 billion VND.
Previously, the Ministry of Construction and localities completed investment procedures to start construction of 5 expressway projects with a total length of 271km, including: Hoa Binh-Moc Chau project, 32km through Son La; Ninh Binh-Hai Phong (61km invested in the form of PPP, 25km public investment); Ho Chi Minh City-Thu Dau Mot-Chon Thanh, 53km long, Bao Loc-Lien Khuong, 74km long and My An-Cao Lanh, 26km long.
