Ho Chi Minh City is known as the locomotive of Vietnamese sports, in a period of strong transformation, towards the goal of international integration. The theme "Homeland in the heart - Aspiration for victory" is considered a call for emulation spirit, linking political ideals with specific actions in training and competition.

“Each athlete not only competes with skills, but also carries national pride in their hearts. Each victory is a time when the red flag with yellow star flies,” emphasized Master Lam Huu Duc.
