Becoming the 10th race in the world -famous Standard Chartered Marathon system, Standard Chartered Marathon Heritage Hanoi will continue to affirm the position of Vietnam marathon on the world marathon map, making Vietnam a favorite destination for international athletes.
Standard Chartered Hanoi Heritage Marathon is a race with the spirit of sportsmanship connecting the sustainable community, a playground for all those who love running, from professional athletes, disabled athletes, foreign athletes as well as the foreign community in Vietnam. With the message "Breakthrough, reach far", the race spreads the spirit of daring to break through, surpassing one's own limits to conquer each person's higher goals.

At the official announcement event of the 2025 season, the Organizing Committee and Standard Chartered Vietnam also launched the activity "Collect old shoes, exchange for new shoes" to give love to children in remote areas with cleaned old shoes and also officially launched The Leader's Cup Fund - a running and fundraising activity of business leaders participating in the Standard Chartered Marathon Heritage Hanoi to implement activities to contribute to the community.
This year, the tournament will take place on November 9, 2025 with 4 distances of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km. The tournament will have a new running route with the starting and finishing points at Quan Ngua Sports Palace (Hanoi).
For the first time, athletes will experience a beautiful, flat finish line of nearly 10km. This is an ideal condition for athletes to accelerate, break through, improve personal achievements as well as admire many historical and cultural heritages. The event is expected to attract the attention of international friends, contributing to making Hanoi a leading marathon destination in Southeast Asia.
