Competition rules

1. Apply USAPA Pickleball Rules

- Withdrawal during the competition: A competitor/pair who withdraws from any match will not be allowed to compete in the following matches and events (except in cases where there is an opinion from a competent medical authority); the Organizing Committee will cancel the results of previous matches of the withdrawing athlete/pair.

If the serve touches the net and enters the designated box, play continues.

During the serve, the foot must not step on the line before the ball leaves the racket.

Feet must not step on the court line or move into the court area when hitting a volley (even when the ball has finished).

When hitting the ball, the racket or any part of the body must not touch the net or net posts.

Athletes are allowed 01 first aid (medical time out) in 01 match if injured (10 minutes) and 01 time out in 01 round (01 minute).

3. Competition attire

Players must wear their own uniforms according to Pickleball regulations, which are T-shirts and shorts. The Organizing Committee will not allow players to compete if they do not comply with the above regulations.

Number of registrations

Each athlete cannot register for more than 02 competitions (according to the form of the Organizing Committee).

Registration time

Method 1: Athletes download the vpickleball application from the AppStore or PlayStore on mobile platforms and register individually or in groups, filling in all information.

Method 2: Athletes register with full information via the link https://vpickleball.com.vn/vi before June 30, 2025.

Method 3: Register according to the official form of the Organizing Committee, download it from the website and send it to the Organizing Committee before June 30, 2025 by post : Organizing Committee of Vietnam Pickleball Tournament - Hyundai Thanh Cong Cup 2025, 5th floor, No. 15 Ho Xuan Huong, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City.

Athletes who do not complete the registration form and time as prescribed will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.

Participants

Male and female athletes must be in good health, have not violated the law, and are not currently under disciplinary suspension from competition (including foreign athletes).

Athletes must have one of the following documents: Citizen ID; Passport or personal identification.

Athletes may only compete in one age group (athletes in an upper age group may compete in a lower age group).

Athletes who have competed in amateur events are not allowed to compete in professional events and vice versa.

Each athlete can only compete for 01 team (club) in the tournament.
