Ho Chi Minh City school football playground kicks off

On the morning of October 22, VJSS Football Center coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF) to hold a press conference to announce the VJSS Children's Football Tournament - Yamaha Cup 2025, marking the official start of the most anticipated children's football playground of the year.

This year’s tournament gathered 32 excellent children’s football teams, representing schools and clubs across the city. Representatives of HFF, Can Tho Football Federation, coaching staff of the teams and many sports reporters attended the ceremony.

According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament aims to build a solid foundation for school football, nurturing passion and a healthy competitive spirit for future generations of players. The special highlight of the season is the journey "Bringing the Yamaha Cup to each club", taking place from October 23 to November 23. The Organizing Committee will visit each team, hand out jerseys and balls, provide financial support and organize professional training sessions - helping the children to have the best preparation before the competition day.

The tournament will take place on November 29 and 30, 2025 at Thu Duc Football Club, with a format of 8 groups, each group has 4 teams. After the group stage, the teams will continue to compete in 4 levels: Champion A, B, C and D. This model ensures that every team will be on the field until the final match - in the spirit of "Playing hard, learning from football and growing with passion".
