Specifically, according to the Phu Tho Provincial Police, on April 14th, due to it being a weekend, the number of visitors to Hung Temple increased dramatically. Scenes of thousands of people gathering to visit the temples were posted and edited on some social media sites with sensational headlines, aiming to attract views, such as "Hung Temple Overwhelmed."

In addition, many social media sites have been editing and using images of police officers providing first aid to two people who fainted while visiting the Thượng Temple on March 5th (Lunar Calendar) and superimposing them onto images of today's crowded scene, thereby "distorting" the truth by claiming that the crowds caused many people to faint.
However, in reality, the crowded scene in the temple courtyard was due to the police implementing a "soft barrier" to manage traffic flow, proactively regulating the number of visitors going up to the temples in batches, avoiding localized congestion and overload on the roads leading to the Lower, Middle, and Upper temples. Thanks to this innovative solution, the temples always maintain a sufficient number of pilgrims, preventing congestion, overcrowding, and health risks to pilgrims, as well as maintaining security and order in the confined spaces.

Through this, the Phu Tho Provincial Police hope that people will filter information and understand the issue correctly so that they can feel secure when making pilgrimages to the ancestral land, fulfilling their wish to offer incense and pay tribute to the Hung Kings, and participating in the recreational activities at the festival.
