On the other hand, the Department of Finance does not require enterprises to register changes in address information due to changes in administrative boundaries.
Enterprises update information about addresses due to changes in administrative boundaries on the Business Registration Certificate, Certificate of registration of branch/representative office/business location when needed or simultaneously when registering changes, notifying changes to other contents in the business registration.
Previously, the Ministry of Finance issued Official Dispatch 4370/BTC-DNTN dated April 5, 2025 guiding business registration in case of changes in administrative boundaries.
Accordingly, the document clearly states that registration of changes in business address information is not required in cases of changes in administrative boundaries. At the same time, it is requested that the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities direct business registration agencies at all levels to research, implement, and simultaneously inform and disseminate to enterprises, business households, cooperatives, cooperative unions, and cooperative groups in the area.
