The book is over 760 printed pages thick, including 4 parts: Poetry, Short Stories, Memoirs and Critical Theory, introducing nearly 250 works by 158 authors, from poets and writers who are "old trees" in Phu Yen to young authors, from names born and raised in Phu Yen, closely attached to this land to authors in other provinces and cities, who have composed emotional works about the land and people of Phu Yen.
According to poet Huynh Van Quoc, Executive Vice President of Phu Yen Literature and Arts Association, Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Literature and Arts Magazine: “Not only limited to the local level, Phu Yen literature has contributed many valuable values to the national literature. Poetry, prose and critical theories not only reflect regional identity but also contribute to expanding creative thinking, promoting the overall development of Vietnamese literature. Through this book, we can see the continuity and inheritance of literary spirit through each generation, from the authors who have shaped local literature to enthusiastic young writers. This is a testament to the sustainable development of Phu Yen literature - where people, nature and art blend to create profound spiritual values. This book is a recognition of the efforts of Phu Yen artists and writers over the past 50 years. The editorial board hopes that, through the works in this collection, readers will have the opportunity to better understand the culture of Phu Yen. literature of this land, and at the same time feel the values that literature brings to human life".
The collection of works Phu Yen Literature 50 years of unification (Writers Association Publishing House) is the final publication of the Phu Yen Literature and Arts Association, concluding the association's 36-year journey of operation.
