In a friendly and colorful cultural atmosphere, the Vietnam tourism promotion program called "Vietnam Tourism RoadShow in Europe" officially took place in the capital city of Prague, Czech Republic, attracting the attention of many travel businesses, tourism partners and media of the host country.

The event was organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic, Vietnam Airlines and domestic and foreign travel companies. This is a special highlight in the series of activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Czech Republic (February 2, 1950 - February 2, 2025).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho Anh Phong emphasized the strategic significance of the Vietnam-Czech relationship, which has been nurtured over the past 75 years on the basis of trust, cooperation and sustainable friendship. Tourism is not only a cultural bridge but also a driving force for promoting people-to-people exchange and economic cooperation between the two countries.

"We identify the Czech market in particular and Europe in general as key markets, requiring a strategy to develop tourism products that are specialized, personalized and rich in experiences," he said, affirming his commitment to working closely with partners in the Czech Republic to launch products that are increasingly suitable to the tastes of local tourists.

On behalf of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Czech Republic, Minister Counselor Nguyen Dieu Linh sent a warm welcome to the guests attending the event.

She emphasized that this program not only contributes to strengthening tourism cooperation between the two countries but is also an opportunity to realize the commitments in the Strategic Partnership that Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Czech Republic leaders agreed upon during their official visit last January.

According to Ms. Nguyen Dieu Linh, with the ongoing event, Prague - "the heart of Europe" - has become a bridge between the two countries through cultural, culinary and tourism spaces. She pledged to continue to accompany cooperation initiatives between businesses of the two countries.

In addition to introducing unique tourism products, the event was also a lively "party" of art and culture. The audience was delighted with traditional art performances from the Vietnam National Music and Dance Theater and immersed in the unique flavors of dishes such as pho, bun cha, nem ran... which have become "culinary ambassadors" of Vietnam around the world.

The event also opened up opportunities for travel businesses from both countries to exchange and seek cooperation opportunities, while introducing tourism programs designed specifically for the Czech market, a market that loves experiencing culture, nature, history and the hospitality of the Vietnamese people.

The program in Prague is part of the "Vietnam Tourism Roadshow in Europe" event series, a journey to promote the image of Vietnamese tourism in Europe, with Berlin (Germany) as the final stop. Today's integration steps will be a solid foundation for a future of extensive cooperation, where tourism is not only a key economic sector but also a common language of Vietnam-Czech friendship.

"The common journey is always more beautiful" is the message of the program and also the expectation for a future of connection, cooperation and sustainable development between the two peoples.
