Activating red alert, Quang Nam General Hospital rescues victim of serious traffic accident

(DNO) - Doctor Nguyen Tam Thang, Deputy Director of Quang Nam General Hospital, informed that the hospital is making efforts to treat the victims of the serious traffic accident early this morning (October 12).

According to information from Quang Nam General Hospital, at around 1 a.m. this morning, October 12, the hospital's Emergency Department received 7 victims with multiple injuries from a traffic accident.

Immediately after receiving the victims, the hospital activated the red alert to provide timely emergency treatment.

Among the 7 victims, according to Dr. Tam Thang, there is 1 patient born in 2024 with severe traumatic brain injury who had surgery and the prognosis is very poor. In addition, 2 cases of severe trauma had surgery and are now stable, the remaining cases with multiple injuries had surgery and are stable.

Currently, the victims are receiving intensive care at Quang Nam General Hospital.

Initial information from Quang Nam General Hospital, the victims were people traveling from Quang Ngai to Da Nang , had a serious traffic accident on Vo Chi Cong Street - the section passing through the old Tam Hoa commune, now Tam Anh commune.
